Beyoncé wore a stunning golden ensemble at Glamour’s Women of the Year Awards. She was there to cheer on her mom, Tina Knowles, who was being honored at the New York City event on Tuesday, Oct. 8.
Queen Bey looked absolutely radiant in a soft yellow top with a matching waist-cinching belt, paired with a shimmering gold slip skirt from Sergio Hudson’s Spring/Summer 2025 collection. She completed the look with pale yellow mesh gloves and towering gold platform heels. The “Texas Hold Em” singer rocked her now-signature white-blonde hair in a voluminous, wavy bob. She added some sparkle with embellished hoop earrings, gold eyeshadow, and a nude glossy lip.
As Beyoncé arrived, she wrapped herself in a long fur coat, carrying a sleek black and gold purse. She topped off her look with a pair of blinged-out gradient cat-eye sunglasses.
The superstar seemed moved as she watched from the audience while her 70-year-old mom was honored and gave a heartfelt speech. Tina reflected on her journey, saying, “I’ve been so blessed in my life to do many things. I’ve had many careers, but I’ve always said that the best job that I’ve ever had is being a mother. I’ve had the privilege of raising and helping to raise four daughters. Two that were born to me and two that were a gift to me from God.” As Tina spoke, the camera caught Beyoncé appearing to tear up.
Tina, who’s also mom to Solange Knowles, went on to share, “I was somewhat of a rebellious teen and a young adult … but the day that I became a mother, I decided that this was one thing that I wouldn’t screw up.”
In a video shared by Glamour on TikTok from the event, Beyoncé was all smiles as she posed for photos with her mom and her former Destiny’s Child bandmate and bestie, Kelly Rowland. The two friends matched in gold, with Rowland, 43, rocking an eye-catching black and gold plunging suit by Gaurav Gupta.
This isn’t the first time Beyoncé has wowed in gold recently. At her celebration for the launch of SirDavis Whisky in Paris on Sept. 27, she wore a jaw-dropping custom Gucci gold sequin gown with a plunging neckline. She even carried a 3D-printed bag shaped like a SirDavis whisky bottle, complete with the brand’s signature gold horse icon.
